Adam David Collings is a science fiction and fantasy author most known for the Jewel of The Stars series. He lives in Tasmania, Australia with his wife Linda and his two adult children. Adam draws inspiration for his stories from his over-active imagination, his life experiences and his faith.
Adam is a great lover of stories and is the host of the Nerd Heaven podcast where he discusses sci-fi and fantasy from TV, film, and books. You can also find these discussions on youTube.

Long Bio
Adam David Collings is a massive nerd and science fiction author from Tasmania, the island state of Australia (and greatest place on Earth). He is the kind of geek that would like to speak Klingon fluently, but he is too busy writing books to learn.
Growing up in the eighties, consuming a steady diet of Knight Rider, Voltron, Superman, and Star Trek, Adam always had a love of story-telling. It never occurred to him that writing was something people could do as a career.
In 2004, he married his beautiful wife, Linda. He imported her from New South Wales as a way of doing his part for the local gene pool.
Adam drafted two novels during this time, his progress slowed by his own insecurities and rightly prioritising the raising of his two children.
In 2015, Adam pushed past his insecurities and submitted a short story to the Medieval Mars anthology and achieved the rank of published author.
With fresh confidence and enthusiasm on the heels of this achievement, Adam started writing a story that had been on his heart for a while. This became Jewel of The Stars, a TV-series-in-book-form about a cruise ship in space on the run after Earth falls to an alien invasion. The first book was released into the world in 2017.
Now that he was writing about a cruise ship, it was inevitable that he had to take a real life cruise (purely for writing research, of course). In 2019 he took his family on a life-changing journey on the Carnival Legend to New Caledonia. This journey gave birth to a travel vlog on youTube called the time-travelling adventures of Ryan Porter and the fantasy exploration in Edric’s Escapades.
In late 2019, Adam started the Nerd Heaven Podcast where he discussed science fiction and fantasy TV and movies. The podcast is currently on semi-hiatus but not completely retired.
Adam David Collings has had short stories published in various anthologies by publishers such as Bear Publications, The Crossover Alliance, By The Light Books, and Rhiza Press. Adam’s work is listed on Find Australian Christian Books.
